Nackrosen by Per Hasselberg and Christian Eriksson, 1896

The allure of beauty.

This sculpture is located in the Kunstmuseum in Gothenburg, Sweden.  Its title is "Nackrosen," which best translats to "Water Lily." 

Basically, this woman is a water-lily nymph who is completely unaware of her beauty, unwittingly luring men to their drowning deaths. 

This marble version by Christian Eriksson is after a cast by the famous Swedish Academic sculptor Per Hasselberg.
